Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation was established within Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine and will be opened by Dr. It serves with 3 lecturers under the direction of faculty member Selma Başyiğit. There are 3 doctor faculty members among the faculty members. Theoretical training is given at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine Private Göztepe Medicalpark Hospital, and practical training is given in Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine Private Göztepe Medicalpark Hospital intensive care unit, operating room, postoperative observation unit, polyclinic and medical faculty clinical skills laboratory. 

 

During practical training, our students are provided with monitoring, patient airway management and intubation skills on models in the clinical skills laboratory. In clinical training, preoperative patient evaluation is taught in the outpatient clinic, observations are made regarding the follow-up and management of postoperative patients in the intensive care unit and postoperative observation unit, monitoring, vascular access, patient airway management and intubation practices are performed in the operating room, and patients undergoing surgical procedures under anesthesia are included in the follow-up processes. . In theoretical courses, the history of anesthesia, airway anatomy and management, intubation, general and regional anesthesia methods, drugs used in general and local anesthesia, monitoring, pain, sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, blood products and blood transfusion, brain death and organ Donation issues are explained by our expert academics.  

 

As Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, our main aim is; Our aim is to provide our medical school students with basic medical skills that will enable them to save human lives. In this context, with the mission of education and training at universal standards, we strive to ensure that our medical faculty students become competent physicians and good people with ethical, respectable and deontological values.
