The Forensic Medicine Department focuses on the application of medical knowledge and expertise to legal and criminal investigations. The department's team of forensic specialists conducts examinations, analyses, and evaluations to assist law enforcement agencies and the justice system. Key areas of expertise include determining the cause of death, assessing injuries, and evaluating medical evidence in cases of assault or abuse. The department also offers consultations and expert testimony in legal proceedings. In addition to its clinical and legal services, the Forensic Medicine Department is committed to advancing the field through research, education, and training.
